I’m over it. . Pushing harder, running faster, chasing the next made up goal. . I had been giving myself a hard time for *only* running half of a half marathon relay, like I wasn’t striving hard enough to be better. As if me running 6.55 miles instead of 13.1 made me less of a person. . Because this is what us overachievers do to ourselves. It’s never enough unless we keep chasing the next thing. And since I already have a half marathon under my belt, obviously I need to keep pushing for more 🤦🏻♀️ . Or not. . Maybe I’ll stop mid race and take pictures and videos of the most scenic landscape I’ve ever run in. . Maybe instead of being annoyed that I’m being passed by a woman pushing a stroller, I’ll cheer her on because that’s the most badass thing I’ve seen all day. . Maybe I’ll remember it’s not about the miles or the medals... it’s about sharing this experience with my best friend. . So I guess I’m saying this week, you can take your
